Frequently Asked Questions

What is the Final Inches procedure?

The doctors at Final Inches perform Laser Liposculpture to permanently remove frustrating fat, including belly fat, love handles and muffin tops. Laser Liposculpture is the only procedure we perform, so you can be confident our doctors have the experience and expertise to help you achieve the best results possible.

Am I a good candidate for Laser Liposculpture?

If you’re looking to permanently lose frustrating fat and are in relatively good health, then you are a candidate for Laser Liposculpture. We treat many types of patients — from those who want to lose those “final inches” to those who would like a kick-start to a slimmer shape. If you are looking to improve your figure — we can help.

How is Laser Liposculpture different from traditional liposuction?

The results you can expect are very similar; however, there are major differences which make Laser Liposculpture much more attractive to patients. First, we use only local anesthesia, as opposed to general anesthesia, which significantly reduces the complication rate and recovery time. Second, we use a gentle laser used to destroy fat cells instead of physical, traumatic force. This dramatically reduces bruising, swelling and discomfort. Third, most patients are back to work the next day instead of a week or two of downtime which is required with traditional liposuction. Finally, Laser Liposculpture costs 25 to 50% less than traditional liposuction.

How is the fat removed from my body?

With Laser Liposculpture, our doctors use an FDA-approved laser to gently melt unwanted fat and remove it using a small cannula the size of a paperclip. The incision is so small, only a small band-aid or single stitch is needed.

What is the expected recovery time?

Most patients are back to work the very next day. You can expect some minor bruising and swelling but nothing that would prevent you from returning to normal activities. For active patients, we may recommend you refrain from vigorous activity for a few days.

Is the procedure painful?

As with any medical procedure, you can expect to experience some level of discomfort. Most patients rate the discomfort “very low.” But, depending upon your target areas, you may experience a few moments of manageable discomfort.

What are the side effects and risks?

Laser Liposculpture is very safe. Complications are extremely rare. The most common side effects are minor bruising and swelling around the treated area(s).

Does Laser Liposculpture treat cellulite, loose skin and/or stretch marks?

The laser used for Laser Liposculpture promotes collagen production, resulting in skin retraction. Because of this, many patients report the added benefit of tighter, better-looking skin. That being said, this procedure is not specifically designed to treat cellulite or stretch marks.

What does Laser Liposculpture cost?

Pricing is determined by the number of body areas you want to target and is about 25 to 50% lower than traditional liposuction. Multiple body area discounts are available. We offer comfortable financing options including No Interest Payment Plans for up to 12 months and Low Interest Payment Plans with payments as low as $79 a month (on approved credit).

Are the results truly permanent?

Yes. The fat is removed forever and will not come back in the treated areas. But this does not mean that you can eat all you want and not expect to gain weight.
